More About DeLoris Wenzel Hesse
Hesse received Bachelors degrees in Philosophy as well as Art History. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Georgia and continued as a research associate at Emory University. In 1993, she came to UGA as a member of the faculty in the Department of Zoology. After departmental reorganization, she became a member of the Department of Cellular Biology where she taught Human Anatomy and Physiology; Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy; and Endocrinology.
Hesse currently teaches Gross Anatomy at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership as well as Endocrinology on the UGA campus.
