During college I realized I really enjoyed my science courses, but I wanted a type of knowledge that had very practical applications. Medicine is constantly evolving, and I feel satisfied when I can apply the knowledge I learn to improve the quality of life of those around me.
The AU/UGA Medical Partnership, in my opinion, offers outstanding undergraduate medical education for any aspiring Georgia resident. The intense first two years of medical school will cause most to shed some tears, but now, a few months away from graduating, I can look around to my classmates, and there isn't a single one that I would not want my family members to go to. The process is grueling, but if you are hardworking and honest, you will make it through and be surrounded by people who deserve to be called "good doctors."
