Dr. Melissa B. Davis comes to the MCG/UGA Medical partnership from the University of Chicago with a diverse work and education background. Dr. Davis is a demonstrated achiever with exceptional knowledge of molecular biomedical research. She also has a strong background in functional genomics research combined with exceptional community service and organizational management. Dr. Davis is a natural teacher and is dedicated to improving the academic standings and scientific contributions from her native Georgia as well as her alma mater.
