Please join us for this informational session on Mentoring for Promotion. Anyone who is or has been a mentor, whether formal or informal, is encouraged to attend!
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to:
- Describe concept of “Scholar”
- Describe how to help a mentee identify with it
- Describe promotion principles and processes
- Explain the importance of a Career Guide and its characteristics
- Create a plan to have promotion conversations and portfolio planning with a mentee
