Dr. Chin teaches first year Clinical Skills and first and second year Community Population Health (CPH) where she leads the mobile clinic team at the Foothills Education Charter High School. She also participates in the Resilience and Professional Identity Formation team as the facilitator for the third year internal medicine process groups.
Prior to teaching medical students, she spent a thirty year career in a variety of roles including staff physician, medical director, and executive director at the University of Georgia’s University Health Center. Prior to that, she was in private practice serving rural Georgians in Wrightsville, GA. She obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA followed by her MD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Her internal medicine residency was in Westchester County Medical Center at New York Medical College. In addition to her teaching commitments, she consults for the American College Health Association and volunteers for several national, state, and local boards and committees.
