Any gap years? If so, what did you do?
I engaged in two gap years. I worked for a biotech company for a year and a half. I also tutored math, English, and science for grades 3-12 as well as for SAT/ACT. Most importantly, I took a bit of a break and traveled and spent quality time with family and friends.

Bio: tell us about yourself
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved down here since high school. I can tell you first-hand that it may be difficult at times to switch up your social circle and shift your lifestyle. Medical school is a big step, but an exciting one! PLEASE feel free to reach out to any of with any questions you may have.

A little about me: I enjoy playing basketball with the hoopers here on campus and going for a bite in between study blocks with friends. Recently, I’ve been getting acquainted with ping pong and competition has been getting spicy in the student lounge! I also love to spend time with my family, watch a movie, or discover a new place.
