The Office of Communications and External Affairs works to achieve the goals and priorities of the Medical Partnership through three strategies:

  1. Communications
  2. Development
  3. Community Outreach

Communication

The office promotes and manages the brand of the Medical Partnership through thoughtful and creative public relations, marketing, and social media strategies. Telling the stories and highlighting the work of the people that make up the Medical Partnership is the foundation of our communications strategy.

Development

The office builds authentic relationships with key stakeholders including, alumni, donors, current students, faculty, and community partners to achieve the fundraising goals of the Medical Partnership. This is done through strategic engagement and stewardship.

Community Outreach

The office creates respectful, mutually beneficial relationships with community partners and institutional stakeholders through strategic outreach and connection.

Additionally, the Office of Communications and External Affairs manages the Student Ambassador Program and manages all potential student outreach including open house events, student panels, and additional recruitment events.
