Agrawal Named Chief Resident at Emory University
Shub Agrawal, MD, MBA, a graduate of the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership in 2019, has been selected to be a Chief Resident for the 2022 – 2023 academic year for the Internal Medicine program at Emory University.
Agrawal is one of six doctors chosen to represent Emory’s residency program for that academic year. Chief Residents are chosen for the role because they are seen as the best to help lead the residency program in clinical, teaching, scholarly, administrative, and in recruitment.
Dr. Scott Richardson, Director of Academic Success Programs at the Medical Partnership, said he expects nothing less from Agrawal.
“I am not the least bit surprised that they have chosen Shub for this honor,” said Richardson. “This fits with what we know of her and with how strongly we all guessed she would perform.”
