The Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership campus is educating future physicians in keeping with the high standards of the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and the University of Georgia. A partnership of two prominent state institutions, bolstered by a supportive medical community, creates an unparalleled opportunity for the education of future physicians.

The Medical Partnership campus emphasizes small group learning and student/teacher interaction. The small class size enables innovation in teaching and makes it easier to incorporate early clinical experiences into the curriculum. This allows our students to graduate with expertise, experience, critical thinking, and leadership skills to improve the health communities in which they serve.

This past May we celebrated our tenth graduating class since we first opened our doors nine years ago, and we now have 380 Medical College of Georgia alumni who attended the Medical Partnership campus scattered across the United States practicing medicine in a variety of specialties. I know they are all accomplishing great things in their respective communities.

I hope that you’ll consider the Medical College of Georgia and the AU/UGA Medical Partnership when applying to medical school. Our goal is to shape the future of medicine by providing the best education possible, and I’m glad you’re interested in being part of that future.

Sincerely,

Michelle A. Nuss
