Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, a professional medical organization, recognizes and advocates for excellence in scholarship and the highest ideals in the profession of medicine. GOLD HUMANISM HONOR SOCIETY

In 2002, the Arnold P. Gold Foundation established the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a signature program to recognize medical students, residents, and faculty who practice patient-centered care by modeling the qualities of integrity, excellence, compassion, altruism, respect, and empathy.

GHHS LEONARD TOW HUMANISM IN MEDICINE AWARD

Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Awards recognize graduating students and faculty members who demonstrate both clinical excellence and outstanding compassion in the delivery of care and who show respect for patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues.

DEAN’S CLINICAL HONOR SOCIETY

The Medical College of Georgia established the Dean’s Clinical Honor Society in 2017 for the purpose of honoring outstanding medical students who consistently achieved high academic excellence throughout the core clinical clerkships of the 3rd year of medical school.

AMERICAN MEDICAL WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION GLASGOW-RUBIN CITATION FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) awards the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for academic achievement to women who graduate in the top 10% of their medical school class.
