Norris Films Videos for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Dr. John Norris, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Medical Partnership, is featured in newly released videos for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library— a program in partnership with the United Way.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a program that provides free books to children from birth to age five, and anyone is eligible to sign up for the program.

Norris has been a board member for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for Clarke and Oconee Counties for three years and filmed the videos at the Partnership campus in the fall of 2020. The videos explore ways to start reading to children and how to approach the subject depending on the child’s age.

The United Way of Northeast Georgia released the first video featuring Norris during the week of February 22, and the most recent video was released to commemorate the beginning of National Reading Month and Read Across America Day on March 2.

You can watch Norris’s videos on the United Way of Northeast Georgia’s Facebook page.
