Any gap years? If so, what did you do?
During my one gap year, I worked as a medical scribe in a local Cardiology practice in Rome, Georgia while completing my certification in phlebotomy. I also completed a Medical Physiology Certificate graduate program through the University of Florida. Before medical school began, I took time to enjoy the outdoors in the Florida Keys where my parents live most of the year.

Bio: tell us about yourself
Hi! I am Chandler Johnson, an M4 at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership. I am originally from Rome, GA, and attended the University of Georgia, where I graduated in 2019. During the school year, you can usually find me doing flashcards on a treadmill in Ramsey or drinking coffee and studying at SIPs, or in the Russell Hall ‘fish bowl.’ In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts at Georgia Theatre, baking anything that includes peanut butter, and gardening. I especially enjoy spending time outdoors, and traveling.
