The 5th annual Healthcare Simulation Week, celebrated Sept 13-19, 2021 raises awareness about the profession and celebrates those that work in it. It is sponsored by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare:

-Raises awareness about the importance of healthcare simulation in improving the
safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of healthcare delivery and outcomes.
-Celebrates professionals who work in simulation
-Raises awareness amongst media and consumers about how healthcare
professionals are using simulation to improve the safety, effectiveness, and
efficiency of healthcare delivery

A drop-in, self-guided, interactive tour of the Simulation Center for AU/UGA MP faculty, staff and students.
The tour will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept 14, 15, 16 from 10-3 each day.
There will be stations in each room where visitors can investigate some of the simulation technology used in the center to provide education to medical students.
