Yom Kippur (Jewish)

October 4, 2022

In 2022, Yom Kippur begins as sundown on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, and ends at sundown on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. The holiest days of the Jewish Calendar, Yom Kippur is known as the “Day of Atonement.” It occurs annually on the 10th of Tishrei, the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar. Centered around atonement, the day’s observances consist of full fasting, ascetic behavior, and intensive prayer.

Please join the MCG Office of Learner Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in wishing our colleagues of Jewish Faith – A Blessed Yom Kippur!
