Developed over 10 years ago, the annual MedWAR (Medical Wilderness Adventure Race) is meant to help train students, doctors, nurses, and emergency workers to manage medical emergencies that aren’t near a hospital.  Approximately 30 teams competed in this year’s event and were evaluated on how well they responded to the emergency situations.  The race began at 10 am and was completed 8 hours later.
