Any gap years? If so, what did you do?
I took 2 gap years and spent them doing research with the Johns Hopkins Brain Learning Animation and Movement Lab! My favorite research project explored new ways to make post-stroke therapy enriching and fun through immersive video game therapy! Working at Johns Hopkins was an absolute dream, and I am so grateful for my gap years!

Bio: tell us about yourself
Hi 🙂 I am an M3 with an interest in Neurology. My love for the brain first began in my high school psychology class, and I have never looked back since! I find brain injuries and neurodegenerative diseases fascinating and would love to one day work with Parkinson Disease patients or CTE patients with the NFL! Outside of school, I love to cook, garden, exercise, and watch football. One of my favorite things that I am involved with at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership is the Personalized Health and Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group as I love all things wellness like yoga, meditation, nutrition, and mindfulness.
