Any gap years? If so, what did you do?
During my gap years, I primarily worked as a medical scribe at a pediatric clinic where I fell in love with interacting with, educating, and taking care of children! I also continued to work at my undergraduate university where I took a plethora of responsibilities ranging from telecommunications to serving as the point of contact within the department. Outside of work, I started working out and took a deep interest in Zumba and weight lifting, and continued to practice learning French and Vietnamese in hopes to practice this in a medical setting!

Hi! I’m Danielle! I grew up predominantly with my mom and brother in Riverdale, GA, which is a little south of Atlanta. Coming from a multicultural household often came with its fair share of challenges but there was never a dull moment on how to pronounce certain words in the house! The environment was always filled with love, nurture, education, and lots of good food! Though I haven’t been here long, I have genuinely enjoyed my time here at Athens and plan to explore the hidden gems of the city, especially if it pertains to food! I enjoy nature and taking walks, and have also recently taken up boxing!
