Bio: tell us about yourself
Hey guys! My name is Phebe Wright, and I am an M1. I am originally from Grayson, Georgia and went to the University of Georgia for undergrad (Go Dawgs!). After graduating, I went on to get my Masters of Physiology at Case Western Reserve University and graduated in 2022. In my year off before starting medical school, I married my best friend and lived in Greenville, South Carolina where I spent time for a couple months before moving back to Georgia for school. During undergrad I volunteered at a local clinic called Mercy Health Center here in Athens where I developed a passion for serving underserved populations, specifically working with community members to overcome barriers to equitable and accessible healthcare. I am passionate about women’s health and maternal/child health and hope to one day work alongside this population to improve their health outcomes.

Some fun things about me: My family is from Nigeria and I am the oldest of three. In my free time I love spending time at the park walking trails with my husband & our dog, Zeke. I also enjoy binge-watching TV shows and spending quality time with family. My favorite thing about Athens is the Trader Joes 🙂
